The lights work great. I have used auxiliary lights to assist in long distance driving and these lights perform great and as expected. I prefer the simple controls to more complex ones so I can focus on the ride. I'd like to also give a huge thumbs up to the customer service. I made a mistake in one of the adjunct parts, they took the call, explained my error and exchanged free of cost. Super friendly moto enthusiasts!

POWERFUL & VERSATILE

Loved this setup. I ride it 80% of the time keeping on the low beam which is more than enough, I use the high beam (spot) for pass light or at extreme pitch dark situations. My Night rides look like day rides after installing Lycan. The power is so good that every vehicle gives you a overtake pass as I blast on the lights. Buying the filters is helpful as it protects the lights & helps during fog & rains. Easy to install with its plug & play feature.

Great combination of Flood and Spot pattern

I chose lycan over the rage lights because this one has a better flood pattern illumination, some width is needed for indian roads. this also is more than sufficient to ride safely easily at 100kmph, you'll get the same amount of reaction time as daytime I'm very happy with these ones 😁

Game Changer for Night Rides on My Himalayan 450! Installed the Maddog Alpha lights on my Himalayan 450 and honestly, it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve done. The installation was smooth and neatly done, using the accessories connector — no wire cuts or messy setup. The brightness is insane! Super useful for night rides and highway cruising. Build quality feels solid and rugged, just like the bike. It lights up the road like daylight! If you ride a Himalayan 450 and love exploring at night, this is a no-brainer. Totally worth it!

Solid build quality

Got delivered with in 3days by blue dart services. The packaging is amazing. Good installation guide(you tube video and doc ). And most importantly the build quality is so nice. Just go for it if you are looking for your amazing bike. I fixed for my New Himalayan 450; it looks awesome!!!

After a careful two-year observation of the product (first version of round lights), I am pleased to share my review. The performance of these lights has been outstanding. They provide a bright illumination and demonstrate remarkable durability. Having been installed on my bike for the entire duration, they continue to function perfectly. For anyone considering long-distance tours, I wholeheartedly recommend these lights. They have withstood various weather conditions, the rain, wind, sun, and still remain reliable after two years of use. All I have is respect and a big applause for the guys in "MadDog".

Sturdy and Looks amazing.

Using this filter with scout lamps and they aren't some flimsy built stuff, this is some really high quality product, only drawback, easily gets stolen. Maybe a locking mechanism would have been nice but well i guess iam asking too much.

High quality rubbers in which the lens can be placed. Easy to fix. Perfect fit. Good throw of yellow 💛 light which helps u in rain and fog. The black cover allows u to ride in city without violating traffic rules in daytime. Once again thank u team for a good quality products and swift delivery upon order. Yamaha R15 Hella cubes mounted.

The customer service is awesome. I had a small issue that warranted replacement of a small portion of the clamp and it was done without fuss in a smooth manner. The clamps have been used to mount Hella 3.2 Cubes on the Yamaha R15's right shock absorber. The clamps are performing really well. I have decided to keep ordering things from them with great confidence in quality and their support after purchase.

Well built and I have no complaints. Yes, possibilities of cops catching me are there but then, I need proper lighting and along with that the correct placement and alignment. The clamp helped me with the positioning and it looks good as well.

Best and Worth Spending on these clamps

the packaging and the deliver was quick ..and more over the quality and finish and the fitment are just awesome.. But i felt if there was a installation guide or a video would have been better ... I will recommend this product to anyone who has double opinion about this clamps ...these were the best ypur money can buy ...and the precision they have given for bolts wer accurate..

Worth the investment

I decided to buy maddog after searching for multiple options.Market had lot of duplicate Chinese products but this one is such a quality product. The heaviness of the metal housing and wires are so good. The wire harness and switch pro tailored with care so that it fits directly in your bike and has no fuss. My only suggestion only is to make the ignition connection white wire thicker or make it braided , because it is such a vulnerable position under the handle .

Perfect fit and finish

fit anf finish of the product is just perfect no other words to match its quality . fits to my honda cb350rs front fork ( dia - 46mm) to fit the HJG aux lights ... No matter what kinda road and speed , we ride on but lights does not stutter ( no shakiness)

I have had maddog Alpha for almost more than 2 years on my motercycle, they are just excellent!! Recently I had observed some minute scratches on inside of both the lenses, so I reached out to team maddog in Bangalore, while I am in Pune. They asked me to courier the lights and I am happily surprised that the repair was done, I got my lights on the third day. My lights are out of warranty, but still maddog team is kind enough to solve the problem. The service is so delightful, in this market where product companies just ask consumer to buy a new one, without attempting to solve the problem, maddog provided themselves exceptional. I am really happy! 😊

ScoutX on my Jeep

I wanted a small, subtle aux lights for my Jeep and went ahead with ScoutX. The output is absolutely amazing and the build quality looks strong. Good buying experience as well. Would strongly recommend. The filter caps are a bit loose though.

Let there be light!

After a series of failures with few lights, I decided to settle for Maddog Alpha. The delivery was super fast. The build quality of the lights and other components are top notch. When the time came to switch them on, my jaw dropped on the first instance as it felt I was seeing through the eyes of Superman. I almost could see every rock, pebble, stone. The lights are stellar bright and one has to be careful of not dazzling the oncoming traffic (exception – careless high beam users). The colour tone of the LEDs is super soothing to the eye and gives the best vision possible. To conclude, the Alphas are so far the best of all the auxiliary lights that I have purchased in my riding life till date. If you think you are running blind on the roads on your car/motorcycle - Maddog is your saviour. Bring a blind in the legion of the Alphas and I am sure the first thing he will say is "And then there was light!"

Build quality

This is the second harness that I purchased from Maddog and both are of excellent build quality. Both length and jacks given are adequate to support auxiliary lights fitted at a distance from the battery. Highly recommended.

It's been a little over 2 months now I am using the wiring harness from Maddog and must I say that it has an excellent build quality. The wires and cables used are visible and one can see how well they are made. Each connector, jack, socket and extra connector pins provided are of superior craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

Simply Superb

One of the best Performance Aux Lamps are the Scout X Aux Lamps by Mad Dog. I've mounted them on my JAWA 42 they are simply awesome and perform as per the product specifications. Along with the Aux Lamps i've purchased the performance Harness, Switch Pro, Fork Mounts and Aux Filters. Each and every product is Superb and simply does the work. I've recently tried and tested during extreme rain conditions and works seamlessly Superb. Thanks to the entire team.

Using clear filters for my scout x

Couldn't ask more for the price paid. Rubber mounts could be better. Wasn't fitting properly at the first go. But once fitted it stays rock solid even after several rides. Innovative product which allows to swap between 2 sets of filters at the same time. Wish we get amber filters in the package as well similar to Denali electronics. Definitely would recommend.

You get what you pay for

Product looks premium and goes well with the bike. This switch pro complements my scout x for using as high beam with it's flash/pass function helping with power consumption as I do not want my high beams to be always on. Wish maddog provides both mirror mount and handle bar mount option in the same package for flexible mounting options. Best product I've purchased. Definitely would recommend.
